Allah has taken the responsibility to provide Rizq to his servants. A person is dependent on Allah for his guidance as well as for all his needs in the world. Without guidance from Allah, a person cannot worship Him. We are commanded to ask help only from Allah. Without Allah’s help, we cannot get our needs in this world, and without getting our needs (such as food, clothes, or house) fulfilled we cannot worship Allah completely. So, in both guidance and to get the needs in this world we must ask Allah and look for ways that Allah has advised to fulfill our needs.
In the Quran, Allah has mentioned that one of His names is Ar-Razzaq. One of his attributes is Yarzuq—the giver of Rizq. All of his creations are dependent on Him. His creation cannot give Him anything but He (Allah) gives everything to them.
A person can get his Rizq both through Halal (legal) and Haram (illegal) ways. But Allah has forbidden earning Rizq through Haram ways.
The fact about Halal Rizq that we must know is that due to our doing and not doing certain actions, the blessing of this Halal Rizq is increased or reduced. So, we must know which actions increase the blessings and which reduce them.
With the correct and recommended actions and by following the keys that open the doorways of Rizq—even a little Rizq will be blessed and become sufficient for a person. This is known as “Barakat” or blessing which makes even the little Rizq sufficient and increases it further.
